Air filter element is a kind of filter, also called air filter cartridge, air filter, etc. It is mainly used for air filtration in engineering locomotives, automobiles, agricultural locomotives, laboratories, aseptic operation rooms and various precision operation rooms.
The engine in the working process to suck in a lot of air, if the air is not filtered clear, the suspended dust in the air is sucked into the cylinder, it will accelerate the piston group and cylinder wear. Larger particles entering between the piston and the cylinder will cause a serious "cylinder pulling" phenomenon, which is particularly serious in a dry and sandy working environment. The air filter is installed in the front of the carburetor or the intake pipe to filter the dust and sand in the air to ensure that sufficient and clean air is entered into the cylinder.
Installation and use
1. During installation, whether the air filter and the engine intake pipe are connected by flanges, rubber tubes or direct connections, they must be tight and reliable to prevent air leakage, and rubber gaskets must be installed on both ends of the filter element; The wing nut holding the air filter outer cover should not be screwed too tightly to avoid crushing the paper filter element.
2. In the maintenance, the paper filter must not be cleaned in the oil, otherwise the paper filter will fail, and it is easy to cause a car accident. Maintenance, only use the vibration method, soft brush removal (along with its crease brush) or compressed air blowback method to remove dust and dirt attached to the surface of the paper filter. For the coarse filter part, the dust in the dust collecting part, the blade and the cyclone tube should be removed in time. Even if each time can be carefully maintained, the paper filter can not fully restore the original performance, the air intake resistance will increase, therefore, generally when the paper filter needs to carry out the fourth maintenance, it should be replaced with a new filter. If the paper filter element is broken, perforated, or the filter paper and the end cap are degumming, it should be replaced immediately.
